Investigator Initiated Studies (IIS)
are clinical studies proposed by healthcare professionals (HCP) and funded by Smith & Nephew. Study proposals are evaluated on the basis of their scientific merit and alignment with the Smith & Nephew research portfolio and business strategy.

Please download and complete both the IIS Proposal & Budget Forms found below. Please submit the completed IIS forms, related documents and queries, in English, directly to studyrequest@smith-nephew.com.

Who can submit proposals?
All medical professionals and researchers with an interest in orthopaedics, joint reconstruction, trauma, arthroscopy/sports medicine, wound management and other related fields are welcome to submit proposals for evaluation.
