They present evidence on the percentage of chronic wounds that have biofilms and their impact on delayed healing of those wounds. They also discuss how a biofilm presents itself on a wound. Is it visible? Does it cover the whole wound? Lastly, the presenters discuss treatment methods, stating that biofilms are not acute wounds and should be managed and treated differently.
